Financial decisions that work for you
Smart tools and resources for informed financial decisions.
MoneyGeek helps everyday Americans make smarter borrowing and banking decisions — comparing personal loans, credit cards, and bank accounts in plain language, including the parts lenders would rather you skip.
Who we are
MoneyGeek is operated by Natural Intelligence Technologies Inc., a company that builds independent comparison resources for consumers. We are not a lender, bank, or broker, and we don’t issue loans or mortgages directly to end users. That independence is the whole point: because we don’t sell the products we review, we’re free to describe their trade-offs honestly — including when borrowing is a bad idea.
What we cover
Our reviews and guides span the everyday money decisions Americans face most:
- Personal loans — rates, terms and eligibility
- Credit cards — rewards, travel and balance transfers
- Banking — savings, checking and money market accounts
- Personal finance — budgeting and debt payoff
- Investing and taxes basics
- Small business financing
How we make money
MoneyGeek is free to use. We may earn commissions from partners through affiliate links, referrals, or placements. Compensation can influence where and how providers appear on the site — but it never changes our scores, our rankings, or what we tell you about a product’s downsides.
How we review financial products
Every review starts with the same questions a careful borrower would ask. We compare products side by side and check provider records against consumer-protection sources such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission. The factors we weigh:
- True cost — APR ranges, origination and late fees, and the total cost of borrowing
- Eligibility — minimum credit score, income and residency requirements
- Funding speed — how fast money actually reaches your account
- Transparency — how clearly terms, fees and limitations are disclosed
- Regulatory standing — complaints and actions on record with regulators
We update pages when rates, terms, or market conditions change, and we re-check our top picks regularly so comparisons stay current.
Meet our editorial team
Our reviews are written and edited by people who cover consumer finance day in and day out. Editing and fact-checking are led by Stephanie Morgan.

Our commitment to accuracy
MoneyGeek content is based on research, structured review methods and fact-checking before publication, and we keep important limitations and disclosures visible. Financial details change, and we get things wrong sometimes — if you spot an error, contact our team and we’ll review it, fix it, and note the update date.
Contact and accountability
Readers can contact MoneyGeek with questions, correction requests or feedback. Because product terms can change, always verify final details directly with providers before applying.
